What’s on my face feat. Morphe 35O Palette

I miss doing ‘what’s on my face’ segment. I used to do it a lot before. It’s about time I do another one featuring Morphe’s 35O palette.

For those who are not familiar with the brand Morphe let me give you a background of this brand.

When Morphe first came out they were only selling make up brushes. When their brushes became a hit, they branch out to make up. Specifically eye make up palettes. They came out with a lot of eye make up palettes that are cheap but good. The downside is the packaging is not good.  The palette case is made of plastic.

Last year, about this time they came out with their 35O palette and this palette sort of put them in the map. It became a hit.

They got the top beauty gurus in YouTube and the more it was talked about.

Since the 35O is meant to be a fall/autumn eye make up palette, I decided to use it for this segment.

By the way, you can only get Morphe products online or at their store in L.A.

So, okay, let’s begin.

Make up base

After prepping my face (moisturizer, serum and eye cream) I apply sun screen. I mentioned in my previous post that I went to my Derma to pick up some products that she wanted me to try, one of the products was this Sunscreen. I used it as a face primer too.

Frezyderm Sunscreen

SPF 50, gel type, very light. First use I like it already. I will review the other products in a different post. My Derma also gave me serum/moisturizer (same brand).

After applying sunscreen and priming my face I apply my foundation. The foundation I am using now is my old favorite.

L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte in the shade 103

I apply my foundation using a damp beauty blender. I like using a damp beauty blender when applying my foundation more than a foundation brush because for me it blends well on my skin and my foundation doesn’t look cakey.

After applying my foundation I apply my concealers. I use 2 concealers. The first concealer is to cover my pigmentation and my blemishes. I apply it wherever I have blemishes. And the shade I use is usually one shade darker than my skin tone

The second concealer I use it for brightening under my eyes, I also apply it on the bridge of my nose, middle of my forehead, and my chin. And the shade that I normally use for brightening is one shade lighter than my skin tone.

The concealers I’m using now is:

Bobbi Brown Retouching Face Pencil in the shade Dark & Extra Light

I just recently (last week) use these. So, I really can’t say much about it yet. These come in a lot of shades that you can choose from. And it comes with a sharpener.

After concealing my face, I apply my eye make up. I usually spend more time doing my eye make up because I take time in blending.

Morphe 35O Palette

The shades that I used. Left to right: first crease, second crease, all over my eyelids, outer corner of my eyes, third crease and outer corner of my eyes.

I repeat the same step in applying my lower lash line.

And I blend away.

After my eye make up I do my brows. I am still using the same eye brow pencil.

IT Cosmetics Brow Power

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in the shade Demolition

I use this to tight line my upper lash line and my lower lash line

When I’m done with my brows, I contour and bronze my face.

For contouring, I have been using this a lot.

Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour in the shade 01  Curvy Contour

I use this in the hollows of my cheek bones, on top of my forehead, in my temple, in my jaw line and in the sides of my nose. I use a damp beauty blender to blend.

For my bronzer, this is my current favorite.

Laura Mercier Face Illuminator in the shade Seduction

I bronze the same area where I contour.

After contouring and bronzing my face I apply my highlighter.

Laura Mercier Face Illuminator in the shade Addiction

This is my favorite part! Highlighting my face. I highlight on top of my cheek bones, middle of my forehead, bridge of my nose, tip of my nose and my cupid’s bow.

I highlight a lot! The more the better. hahaha.

After highlighting I apply my blush.

Make up Revolution Ultra Blush Palette in the shade Sugar and Spice

I mixed these 2 shades.

It is time for my mascara.

First, I use lash primer then I apply my mascara.

Lash Primer: Essence Lash Base Mascara: Le Volume de Chanel

The last but not the least: Lipstick!

MAC in the shade Honey-Love

One of my favorite MAC Lipsticks.
