That glowy look

I promised you my updated everyday makeup. The glowy, highlighted face with minimal but defined eye makeup.

I have been loving this kind of look lately and this is what I have been wearing every time I go out.

It’s  a no fuss, quick and fresh look.

After applying my skin care ( moisturizer, eye cream, face serum, sunblock) the first thing I put on my face is a facial primer. The primer I used in this look (actually, this is what I use all the time) is

L’Oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer

This is not only a face primer but it gives your skin the luminosity that it needs. There’s a glow that peeps thru your foundation.

I let this set in for a few minutes. After it soaks in my skin I apply my foundation. In this look the foundation I chose is

NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer

The shade I’m using is Groenland Light3

I like this because aside from this is a moisturizer it makes your skin look radiant.

Since the foundation I am using is very light I have to cover my blemishes with a concealer. The concealers I am using is

NARS Creamy Concealer and  Holika Holika Cover & Hiding Liquid Concealer

I use NARS Creamy Concealer to cover my blemishes and Holika Holika for brightening under my eyes

Holika Holika is a Korean brand. This is one of my good finds in Watson’s . I am loving this concealer now. For me it is even better than NARS Creamy Concealer. It is so creamy and blends very well and doesn’t crease on me.

After concealing, I apply liquid highlighter all over my face. The liquid highlighter I am using is

Etude House Golden Ratio Face Glam

This come in 2 shades. This pink one and a yellow one (sorry it doesn’t have a shade name).

I use the yellow one when I want a bronze/golden/goddess look or when I have a tan.

I only apply this in the area where I want to be highlighted or where I want to look glowy. Like in my cheek area, bridge of my nose, in the middle of my forehead, below my eyebrows, cupids bow and my chin.

To set my foundation, concealer and the liquid highlighter I use this

Chanel Le Blanc Fresh Glow Brightening Loose Powder

I love this powder. It’s smells so good. All Chanel products are all perfumed and this one has the best scent for me. When you apply it it gives your skin a certain glow.

And now for my eyes. I used 2 eyeshadows.

Maybelline Color Tattoo in 55 Inked In Pink

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Pink Sparkle

I apply first Maybelline Color Tattoo all over my eye lids and blend it well. After blending the Color Tattoo I apply the Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow Stick in the center of my eye lids to make the color more intense.

For my eye liner I use

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Demolition

I apply it on my upper lash line and make a small flick and smudge it to make it look a little smokey.

To set my eyeliner I use this

Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow in the shade Cocoa

I smudge my eye liner using this eye shadow so that my eye liner won’t come out harsh. By setting my eyeliner it will make it last long and it will look smokey.

To tight line my upper lash line, I use this

Kiko Long Lasting Eye Shadow Stick in the shade 20

If there’s a step that I will never miss is tightlining my upper lash line. This is such a small detail that makes a big difference

I like using Kiko Long Lasting Eye Shadow stick because it stays all day and it doesn’t transfer.

For my lower lash line I apply the Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Stick then I put Urban Decay Eye liner not all the way (just half way) and smudge it with the Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow in Cocoa.

For my eye brows these are the products I use

IT Cosmetics Brow Power and MAC Brow Shader

I shaped my eyebrows the way I like it using IT Cosmetics Brow Power and shade it with MAC Brow Shader to make it look natural.

For my mascara and eye lash prime, these are the products I use

Essence Lash Base and Essence Long Lashes

Another good find in Watson’s! These combination is the best for me. I have been using these duo non stop ever since I discovered this. Even Claudia loved this mascara when she borrowed it.

For my bronzer (and I also used it to lightly contour my cheeks), the product I used is

NARS ISSIST Cheek Studio Palette – Laguna Bronzer

The blush I used is this

Tarte Amazonian Clay  12 Hour Blush in the shade Sincere

To add more glow in my face, I use this

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette

What I do is I ran my brush thru these 3 shades and apply it all over my face.

To add more intense highlight, I use this

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer

I apply this in the highest point of my face. Top of my cheek bone, middle of my temple, bridge of my nose, tip of my nose, cupids bow, under my eye brows and chin.

For my lip liner and lipstick, I use these

Etude House Play 101 Pencil in the shade 33 and NARS Velvet Matte Lipstick in Paimpol

This is very quick make up and I normally wear this when I am in a hurry. I am loving the glowy, radiant, luminous and highlighted look these days.
