When Benefit’s Cheekathon Palette came out, I was dying to get hold of it. I love Benefit’s blushes and their bronzer Hoola is one of my favorites. I have been looking for their blush Dandelion and it’s always out of stock.
So, when this palette came out (sometime last month) and has the Dandelion blush in it, I begged Maritess (my friend in NYC) to get for me. But she couldn’t get hold of it too cos it was out of stock everywhere. So, I gave up.
Last Monday I went to the grocery and while waiting for Joshua (driver) I went up to check the Benefit counter in Rustan’s Department store if it is already available here. Who knows, right?
I super love the packaging. Benefit really leveled up their packaging. It is so nice, so girly and so colorful. In fact I did not throw the box that came with this.
Here’s what is inside:
I’m so happy ‘cos it had their blush Dandelion, Rockateur and Coralista! My favorite blushes of Benefit! And it also has the Hoola bronzer. How can you go wrong with this palette? And I love that it has a huge mirror inside the palette!
Top: Dandelion, Hoola Bronzer, Rockateur
Bottom: Dallas, Coralista, Brush
I also picked up their Hoola liquid bronzer called Dew The Hoola
Love this! It is very light, very easy to blend and I love the smell. You only need 1 pump to cover the areas where you want to be bronzed. Yesterday I finally got to try these 2.
I used Morphe Brush eye make up palette, the 35N Palette.
I used Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer to contour my face and I used Benefit’s Dandelion for my blush.
For lips I used Ofra’s Sao Paolo liquid lipstick
and here’s the result:
I love that you can build it up. I applied only light blush to make it look natural but I went crazy on the bronzer. You know me I am a bronzer monster!
