I am not sure whether staying home the entire APEC Summit week was a good decision or not.
I have some friends who got stuck in the airport. Everyday I hear friends getting stranded somewhere and friends whose flight got delayed for more than 10 hours.
And I am sure you’ve heard about what happened to Raymond Fortun and Cebu pacific.
If you haven’t heard about it, here’s what happened: Raymond Fortun and Cebu Pacific
Staying home spared me from all these.
But on the other hand it has been very quiet (even quieter than Holy Week) here. I couldn’t do anything. Everything is literally on hold.
My shipments and orders are all on hold.
Most of the main roads are blocked. Almost all establishments are closed.
I’ve done nothing but watch TV and eat. I have been following in CNN the latest news in the terrorists attack in Paris.
I have no words. It’s like 9/11 all over again.
Today I asked Claudia to have lunch out. I just wanted to get out of the house. I want to shake my mind, breathe the air and try to take it all in.
I miss the beat of the city and the rhythm of the night.
I pray for peace.
