Yesterday for our Sunday lunch Vinny suggested we try the Gourmand Market in BGC.
So, we all went. Me, Claudia, Franny (Vinny’s gf), and Vinny.
I was flabbergasted! To say the least.
I’ve heard about this Gourmand Market a few months ago from Dong Ronquillo (one of the organizers). He would post it on Facebook and Instagram. But you know me I am a person of habit I rarely try new things. Every time I eat out I would just go to the places I like over and over again.
When we got there I was very impressed with the set up. Very organized, very clean (walang langaw) and most important the food was superb. All stalls were all so yummy.
Gourmand Markets staff are all over the place making sure you’re okay.
Everything that we had yesterday were all good!
Vinny had the Paella with crab fat.
Franny had the grilled cheese. This is the most delicious grilled cheese I have ever tried. This is grilled cheese with a twist. It tastes like french toast with melted cheese! I liked it so much that I went back in the evening just to eat this.
Claudia had Manong’s Bagnet and laing (her favorite food).
She finished everything! Manong’s bagnet is one of the best seller there. Ang sarap!
I had Cebu’s authentic Chorizo.
It tastes exactly like the famous chorizo’s from Cebu. Love it!
Some scenes from Gourmand Market.
I saw Dong in the evening when I came back with JSP and he told me that they have this only one week end a month. They’re open from lunch time to 12:00 midnight. And in the evenings they have entertainment of different artists. How cool is that.
Gourmand Market is in BGC Central.
