Hello

I apologize for not updating for 5 days. I thought after the Halloween week end I’d have an easy breezy week ahead. I guess not.

There was a lot on my plate.

My week started with Claudia getting sick. She ate something when she was in the cemetery (I won’t say what cos I don’t want to jeopardize the establishment since we are never sure). For 3 days it was like a constant complain and me giving her all kinds of medicine and giving her Gatorade. Until yesterday I decided to bring her to Dr. Celdran.

As of yesterday afternoon she felt better after drinking the anti biotics Dr. Celdran gave her.

Aside from dealing with Claudia, this week I started decorating for Christmas. We started cleaning the Christmas tree and the trimmings. The whole week it was a constant running to Landmark to buy more stuff.

Our tree is up already and the lights are installed. We just need to finish hanging the trimmings. And I still have the whole house to deal with. I need to finish everything mid next week.

Last Tuesday our tickets for Maldives were delivered. Flights and accommodations confirmed. All systems go.

Or so I thought.

After working so hard on the bookings (flights and accommodations), sweating it out (blood, sweat and tears) CNN delivered the bad news. There’s something going on in Maldives right now. I don’t know exactly what’s going on, it has something to do with their President fighting with his Vice President.

So, now the kids are asking are we still going Mom? It’s dangerous now. Let’s just go to Tokyo. Mom, I’m scared. Etc, etc, etc.

I’m not really dying to go to Maldives. This is the second time we planned to go. First time was in 2004 and just a month before we were scheduled to go the big tsunami happened.

After that big tsunami there were lots of ghost stories happening on the islands. And all over the places that were greatly affected so we lost interest.

It has been more than 10 years since that big tsunami so we thought of going again. Only because my cousin works there and keeps on posting pictures!

And now this?

I emailed the resort right away and last night they responded to my email.

Dear Tina,

Greetings from Loama Resort  Maldives at Maamigili!!

Thank you for below email.

As per attached press release issued by Ministry of Tourism, Maldives is stable and remain safe for all tourists.

We look forward to welcoming you at the resort and making your stay a memorable one.

Kind Regards,

DORIS KARIUKI

E- Commerce Manager

So, now all I have to do is convince the kids that it is safe. Ughhh, I just hate unnecessary stress like this.

Now, back to my rants.

On top of all that, I have my Willow Jewelry and just because tees orders to deal with and my clients should be my top priority. Everything should take a back seat. It’s a good thing everything is going on smoothly in this area of my life!

And that is the reason why I have been silent the past days. So, please forgive me. I hope you didn’t miss me too much.

Next post will be a haul! When I kept on going back to Landmark to buy Christmas decors I found so many new beauty products! So, watch out for that.

I miss you all, too! Before I go to sleep at night I keep on thinking about you guys and how you all are probably wondering why I have been silent.

My very good friend in Cebu, Jinggay, texted me yesterday while I was in Dr. Celdran’s clinic asking me why I have been silent and she hopes everything is ok with me.

And to close this post, I will leave you with this quote:

“only those who care about you can hear you when you’re quiet”

    So true Ms. T.
Your followers, like me, had your blog bookmarked and always check your site for your new entry. Every “kwento” you make never fails to make me smile because I can feel your raw emotions in your words. Kumbaga, unscripted ang mga stories mo Ms. T. You write what you feel, kasehodang may wrong spelling sa pagmamadaling makapag type , and thats what we like about you.
