Today was not the usual heavy Monday for me. I had stuff to do but nothing urgent.
I worked on some Willow Jewelry orders and just because tees orders. I paid some bills and sent Joshua (driver) to do my banking stuff.
Since I had free time for lunch I called my friend Roxanne and asked her if she can have lunch with me. Luckily she said yes.
At first I didn’t know where is a good place to eat on a Monday. I wanted nice ambience, not crowded, relaxing and good food.
Oh, I know where. La Cabrera Manila. Very nice ambience, not crowded, very relaxing and the most important thing, good food.
I haven’t eaten there in a long time and I was craving for some good steak. I miss the place and I miss the people there.
When we entered Chef Juan greeted us! I was shocked to see him ’cause I know he was on vacation. He said he arrived the other day. Great. Good timing!

They seated us and I asked Chef Juan what we can order. I told him I want some good steak. He suggested skirt steak and poach egg salad.
As always it was delicious. Roxanne and me shared a slab and it was just perfect. Medium rare of yumminess. And of course the salad was good. I love La Cabrera’s poach egg salad.
When Carlo (Carlo Calma Lorenzana), the owner, knew that I was there he sent us dessert. On the house.
This is like creme brulee’ but made of chocolate. So, yummy!
And while we were having coffee chef Juan sent us cookies. On the house.
That’s the reason why La Cabrera Manila is my favorite restaurant.
What a way to start my week.
