My No Make-up Make-up Look + OOTD

I always look forward to going to Salcedo Saturday Market. Because…

1. only time I can eat my favorite old school inihaw na bangus and chicken inasal.

2. only place I can eat my favorite fruit langka anytime of the year.

I really don’t go every Saturday. Sometimes I go to the Sunday market in Legaspi Village. And I really don’t go every week end. Only if my partner in crime doesn’t have a golf game. Then we go.

Last Saturday was one such time. We haven’t been to the week end market in a few weeks now so, I got excited.

I want to share with you how I achieved my no make-up make-up look that I normally wear every week end. The products I used are the following:IMG_5733For my foundation I used L’Oreal True Match super blendable make-up in the shade Nude Beige W3. L’Oreal’s True Match foundation is my favorite drugstore foundation. Like it says, it is super blendable.

For concealer I used Bourjois Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer in the shade Apricot. Super love this, too. In fact I asked my friend Marivic who lives in London to buy me 2 tubes for my stock. Since Bourjois products are not available here. Altho’ it is available in the U.S. but since this is a U.K. brand it is more complete there.

To sculpt my face I use Sonia Kashuk Defining Contour Stick.IMG_5738Our family friend Beth sent this to me from the U.S. Sonia Kashuk brand is available in Target.

I swiped this under my cheek bone, in my temple, in the side of my nose and under my jawline. This is to warm my face. I make sure it is blended well and there’s no harsh line.

For bronzer I used Smashbox Contour paletteIMG_5737I apply this in the same area where I applied my Sonia Kashuk contour stick. This is just to set the contour stick.

For second coat of bronzer and for added glow I used Chanel Lumière D’ Ètè illuminating powder.IMG_5735For my blush I used Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in the shade Luminous FlushIMG_5736To set everything together I used Chanel Poudrè Universelle Libre Translucent powder in the shade 20 Clair.

For my eyes I just put the darker shade of my Smashbox contour palette in my crease area to add depth in my eyes. Then I apply my L’Oreal’s Miss Manga mascara.

For my eyebrows I used the very reliable Catrice Eyebrow Stylist in the shade 040 Don’t Let Me Brown.

To tie everything together I use Stila Longwear Lip Color in the shade Darling.IMG_5740My no make-up make-up look.IMG_0290I love wearing shorts and maxi dresses during my down time. Last Saturday I wore this maxi dress I picked up in Zara.IMG_0286

  • Hi Teena, you can buy Bourjois in HK. I see it in Watsons and Sasa. Line is not complete though.

    • Hi, Joann! Yes, I have been to the Bourjois counter in Bon Giorno (it’s like Sasa) in HK. But it’s not complete. Thanks!

  • the blush looks gorgeous!!! is there a way to purchase Hourglass products here in Manila? I hope you can also do a tutorial on your bronzing/contour technique 🙂
