Beauty Haul: Korean Cosmetics and European Drugstore Brands

I know I promised you a drugstore haul the other day, but I was caught up with the usual Monday frenzy that lasted until Tuesday and I didn’t have time to sit down and do this post.

But anyway, here it is!

I went to Watson’s in SM Makati to pick up some toiletries. At first I didn’t want to go to that branch cause last time I was there it was under renovation and their stuff were scattered all over up to the third floor. Since this is the Watson’s branch that’s very near me. I went anyway.

To my surprise they finished their renovation and I was amazed with their new set up! I love it. The minute I entered this greeted me:

IMG_0312The carts and the baskets were right in the entrance. Very convenient.

One of the reasons why I went to Watson’s was to check out the Korean brand Etude House. I heard they carry this brand.

Ever since BB cream came out 2 years ago it has put Korean cosmetics right smack on top of the global cosmetic market.

Etude House is under the cosmetic company Amore Pacific. Amore Pacific is the Esteè Lauder of Asia.

I found a lot of good cosmetic drugstore brands in the newly renovated Watson’s.

Etude House was the first thing I saw when I entered:

I picked up a few of their items. Mostly facial cleansing creams and foams. Their products are all organic. This is one of the reasons why I want to try Korean cosmetics. Most of them are organic.

The sales assistant gave me free gift. Heart 5 Berry Complex facial mask: IMG_3276I can’t wait to try this! Just behind the counter of Etude House is the counter of Tony Moly. Another Korean Cosmetics owned by the same cosmetic company of Etude House. IMG_0318Oh my god. I went crazy with their facial masks! IMG_3296 IMG_3298 IMG_3299 IMG_3302 IMG_3303 IMG_3304No wonder Korean women have very beautiful skin!

Among all of the facial masks the Snail Mask Sheet intrigues me. One of the ingredients is Snail Secretion Filtrate. Uhmmm, interesting.

I also pick up 2 of their cleansing creams. It smells soooo good. It smells so clean and fresh.

I like that the other end of the pencil is a brush! When I was about to leave the sales assistant suggested to me their face primer. She swatched it at the back of my hand and I kinda like it. It feels powdery and very smooth after you apply it.

I was about to go look for my toiletries when I saw all these European drugstore brands! As in OMG. I went crazy again.

The first brand that caught my eye was Gosh. I am familiar with this brand cause I bought a few of their products when I went to Vienna.

IMG_0330I only picked up 2 items. A lip gloss and a lipstick. I have been looking for this shade. It is similar to NARS Audacious Dominique.

I was so surprised to see this: IMG_0322Bioderma! My favorite eye make up remover. I’m so happy we have this now. This is the best eye make up remover for me and it is already available here. I used to order this all the way in Paris.

I had fun discovering new products and I can’t wait to try all of them! Especially the Korean facial masks!
