I went to my dental appointment around 10-ish this morning and when I got to the clinic Pete (my dentist) wasn’t there yet. There were 2 other patients waiting for him, too. So, I waited and went on Facebook so I won’t get bored.
When Pete arrived he told me: sorry, kapatid. Nakaka hiya naman sayo. Pina hintay kita.
I thought he was serious, so I answered back: talaga. dapat mahiya ka kasi kanina pa ako nag hintay.
Of course I was wrong.
He told me: Buti ka pa ngayon ka lang nag hintay ako kahapon pa ako naghintay sayo!
Aside from my lunch with Roxanne yesterday, I also cancelled my appointment with him.
I felt so good today that I decided to recreate the 90’s look of Kylie Jenner. The bold over drawn matte lips.
The camera didn’t pick up the color well. This is really a dark chocolate shade. Chanel Le Crayon Lèvres in Brume-Toffee
While I was rearranging my make up the other day (I bought a new make up organizer in S&R, remember?) I found this lip pencil that was still unopened. I used to hoard on Chanel make up way back. Yes, in the 90’s, when the nearest place you can buy Chanel make up was in Hongkong. So, every time we go to Hongkong I used to buy a lot. And I still have a few that I haven’t used yet. And this is one of them.
So, in the true sense of the word this is the original 90’s make up. My friend even told me that Chanel doesn’t make this Toffee shade anymore.
I’m kinda feeling the vibes of bold matte lips again. I love that it’s back. This was my era.
Can you imagine I even used to wear the dark purple (aubergine) shade of Mary Quant when I was in college and it would freak my mom out. hahahaha. Oh, god. Mary Quant. One of the high end brands in the late 70’s
Expect that I’d be wearing bold matte lips in the coming days.
I wonder what ever happened to the brand Mary Quant.
