Like we had time to have a leisurely lunch together.
We had lunch in La Cabrera in 6750 Ayala Avenue. It is where Lolo Dad’s used to be. We used to go to Lolo Dad’s a lot before. Not only because of the food which was excellent, to say the very least, but the owner is a good family friend.
And now it is La Cabrera. They changed the whole interior and the whole set up. This is already our new favorite restaurant.
When Vinny was in Argentina he actually ate in the original La Cabrera in Palermo. He said La Cabrera Manila has the same ambience, more or less the same interior and the same good food.
We ordered Provoleta or grilled Provolone for starters. It was really yummy.
I wasn’t able to take a picture. But it looked yummy, too!
Claudia and me shared the main course the Pollito Con Queso Ahumado y Tomates
Vinny & Vito each had the same steak for their main course the Ojo de Bife.
After we finished eating and the kids were having coffee they gave us this lollipop tree!
I asked the waitress if we can take it home. And she said yes! So I took it home and gave it to my house girls.
I brought Vito to the airport around 4:30pm and after dropping him off my heart bled. And it bled more when I got his text in our family chat group when he boarded.
Suddenly December seem so far away.
