Vito & Claudia went yachting in Zambales with their friends yesterday the whole day. They came home with Vito burnt. His face & whole body. He looked like a steam crab.
I’ve never seen a sun burn like that. He keeps on whining the whole time and I keep on putting after sun gel every 5 minutes until this morning.
Claudia came home with fever and runny nose. She had to miss school today and I have to call Dr. Celdran to get her a Doctor’s medical certificate.
Vinny went out last night and came home early this morning with lost cellphone.
When he was about to leave for the office he told me to get a new sim card for him in Globe. Globe? It’s just like telling me to get a new sim card in hell.
So I said my piece.
“You guys can go out and have fun. But please don’t come home and give me problems.”
I was trying to be as calm as I can get inspite of a toothache and my hormonal imbalance at it’s peak.
And Vinny, Vinny said the magic words. “It’s not all about you mom.”
It took a few seconds for it to sink in my head.
Ah ganun. That phrase freaked me out.
I screamed: Who’s about it then? ha? Who’s about it!!!!
Silence.
“Who’s about it?” Where did that come from?
Hormonal imbalance is a devil.
