French Songs, Lara Fabian & Gold Eye Make Up. In That Order.

I love French songs. Even if I don’t understand it.

I love artists who put soul in their music. Who sings with emotion, who put their heart into the song.

And that is why I am obsessed with Lara Fabian. She sings French songs in a different level.

One of her French albums, Carpe Diem, has been in my playlist for the longest time. And my favorite song in that album is Je Suis Malade.

I happen to love her make up in her video of this song. I took a shot of her in the video when she was being interviewed before she sings this song.

The shade of her eye make is gold with shimmer. Very, very light. To the point it looked so natural. I don’t know the products she used here. I searched my make up stash that is similar to the shades she is using.

And this is what I came up with.

Make Up Store is a Swedish brand. I am not sure if it’s available in the U.S. but you can find this brand all over Europe and of course online http://www.makeupstore.se/nonn/home.php. I buy my Make Up Store products whenever I am in Europe and the nearest where I can get this is in Singapore. Actually I discovered this brand in one of my trips to Singapore. This brand is one of my favorites. I have their eye make ups, blushes, & make up brushes.

I mixed it with a bronzer in a warm shade on my crease area to give depth in my eyes. And I also used this to contour my face.

The key to have a flawless eye make up is in the blending. I blend like my life depended on it! hahahaha.

And this is the result.

Here’s the video of Lara Fabian’s Je Suis Malade. You need to watch this video so you’ll know what I am talking about.
