Gaza/Israel, Ukraine/Russia and Our Neighbors House

Our next door neighbors house is being demolished. It has been going on for more than 2 weeks already. Low budget kasi mano mano lang. I mean the demolition is being done by hand by these young, skinny construction workers.

So, we have been hearing all the banging for quite some time now.

I had the worst acid reflux known to mankind this morning. I was curled in bed with pain when suddenly I heard the loudest noise that sounded like a bomb. It was too loud and strong that it shook our house.

When we didn’t have internet last week I watched CNN 24/7. MH17 shot down, the bombing in Gaza, etc. was my daily newsfeed.

When I heard the loud noise I got up from bed and saw from my bedroom window a thick smoke/dust. I couldn’t see what was going on. So, I crawled to the bathroom. I did not know what to think. I was choosing between Gaza/Israel war & Ukraine/Russia war.

Lecheng Putin. Hindi kami kasali sa gulo nyo ha. Mga Hamas tumigil na kayo ha, kawawa yung mga cute babies na ta tamaan.

I stayed in the bathroom for 10 minutes and peeped thru the window. Aba, ang nakita ko Makati Skyline. I can see all the way to Greenbelt.

Ang lecheng bahay ng kapitbahay namin bumagsak.

  • Hello from Christchurch, NZ! I am a quiet follower of your blog Ms T. Honestly sa blog mo pa lang updated na agad ako on what’s happening in & out Pinas plus may fashion & beauty tips pa. Entries about your household always makes me smile, parang icing on the cake. Thank you! All the best to you and your kids, pati rin sa mga helpers.

Btw, You may need to have your house checked for cracks, baka nadamage ang mga concrete parts.
