When I posted in Facebook a picture of Beef Salpicao that I made for Vinny the other day, some friends of mine asked for the recipe. So, here it is.
This is one of my favorite dish to order in restaurants when I was still single. And when I had kids I started cooking it for them. Basically, this is one of the dishes that my kids grew up with.
Aside from it is very quick to make it it is very tasty.
I didn’t really follow a certain recipe, I make it on my own basing from the taste.
beef tenderloin – cut in cubes
minced garlic – lots of it
First, I marinate the cubed tenderloin with worstershire sauce for about 10 to 15 mins. If you have the time you can marinate it longer. Then heat the oil and the butter together. When the butter is all melted add in the minced garlic. Brown the garlic. Once it’s brown remove it from the pan and set aside.
Add in the pan your marinated tenderloin together with the worstershire sauce that you marinated it with. Stir fry until the meat is cook. You can season with salt & pepper according to your taste.
Top the garlic once you plate it.
